We can customize our home watch visits to meet your specific needs, but each visit generally includes:

Exterior

Collect mail and flyers to help minimize the appearance of a vacant home.
Check that exterior lighting works properly.
Check for signs of vandalism, break-ins, or storm damage.
Ensure all doors and windows are securely locked.
Examine landscaping, drainage, and irrigation systems for any issues.
Look for evidence of water leaks, damage, or visible moisture, and check for signs of mold or mildew.
Check external faucets for leaks, damage, freeze risk.
Check that security systems are functioning properly
Monitor for any signs of pest infestations.
Inspect all decks, docks, hot tubs, and pools for damage or maintenance needs.

Interior

Check for signs of water damage or leaks:
- Under all sinks
- Floors throughout home and garage.
- Ceilings throughout home and garage.
- Walls throughout home and garage.
- All showers/baths.
Flush all toilets
Run all faucets
Operate dishwasher and washing machine (once a month)
Check for signs of pest infestations
Test thermostat settings
Check fire and CO2 alarms
Verify refrigerator and freezer functionality
Check electrical panels. Remediate power outage issues if found (such as resetting timers/clocks)
Start vehicles (when applicable)
Water plants as needed
Check WiFi functionality
Ensure the security system is working correctly when entering and exiting the property.
